I got back my Chemistry and Physics papers. There was a personal major improvement in my Chemistry as compared to the Common Tests. There was an improvement for Physics also but not enough. I will have to catch up on that during the holidays. Mr Tan made a horrible remark to the class which is only horrible because I felt that it was directed towards me. He said something like this, "If you are better at things like Mass Communication, you may want to rethink about polytechnic. Maybe that is where you belong? Of course, it is up to you." Something along that line.
Sorry but I am staying here, and I WILL do well in Physics in time to come and make you proud. :)
As for Mass Communications, I will take that in University. Great news is that I have two H2 passes I THINK. I calculated the overall grade by myself because the finalised report card is not out yet. I haven't got back the grades for Literature yet so fingers crossed that I pass it too. Getting it back on Monday.
So I GUESS I will be promoted?
Went for the Cambodia CIP Trip interview just now. I feel like I aced it, but you never know. Just hope the teachers found me approachable and worthy of going for the trip. So excited. :D
To be honest, I am kind of sick of the way some friends treat me. Like I am a second, or maybe even third, choice. There is this friend who somehow forgets my existence when she is talking to others. But these are just friends. My best friends are awesome. Well, most of them anyway. :) Some still can't make the time for me. Oh wells.
I have enough on my plate to worry about such friends. And I have learnt to be satisfied with the best friends I have got. Who needs more?
Had PE today after SO long, I thought I would absolutely DIE, but to my pleasant surprise, my body was actually loving the workout! Time to lose weight baby! :D Ran two rounds, did Step-Ups, sit-ups, the Superman(I think that's what it's called) and lifted this very heavy log to tone arms. And then played Badminton. By then we were all so tired that we kept missing the shuttlecocks. xD
I have read the first few pages of Fifty Shades of Grey and I seriously feel that it is over-rated.

Back to reality
We got our GP result back today, but only for the comprehension. It was baaaadddd. I am glad I passed but I could and SHOULD have done better. Really hope my essay helps me to pull up my GP grade.
We are going to get back our Chemistry and Physics paper tomorrow. Oh mother. I really hope I passed AT LEAST, I know I didn't do too well. And after school we have our first Oral Presentation for PW. So basically, it is going to be a tough day tomorrow. Wish me luck.
On a brighter note, I had the Hip Hop course today. I liked the choreography a lot!! I kept forgetting the steps though. HAHA. I have a poor memory unfortunately. My body is aching now though, haven't engaged in physical activities for a long time.
I keep watching singing shows these days. (X factor duh) I can't wait to be up on stage performing myself. :) I just need the chance. SINGAPORE WHY U NO HAVE SINGAPORE IDOL NOW??
Ps. Justin left for UK exactly a month ago. Hope he's doing well :)

Weight loss tips
Weight loss tips from the book "The Good Enough Diet". Yes, it's more for myself than the people who read this blog. Doesn't hurt to share though, right? The following information is copyrighted by the authors of "The Good Enough Diet" and the publishers. I do not own anything. And I have altered the sentence structure/rephrased.
The truth about taste:
The truth about taste:
- For a healthier diet, you can introduce a variety of healthy foods and train yourself to like them. However, strategies to change taste are not an overnight occurrence. When you have grown up not liking a food, you will continue to have negative associations with that food.
- In children, it has been shown that they need to be exposed to a new food more than 11 times before they will accept it. Funnily enough, it is the same for adults.
- The first stage is to try the new vegetable in a mixed meal. The same vegetable needs to be included three different ways to meals.
- Small amounts are enough to change taste preferences. Although a bit of spinach might not improve one's nutritional intake remarkably at first, the benefits to familiarity and long-term acceptance are worth it.
- Creating a positive environment for different foods that you once didn't like is needed to create positive associations with new (healthy) foods.
V for Variety:
- Less variety in your food choices equals more weight loss.
- Those who have been successful at losing weight will tell you that they eat a relatively boring diet. They eat the same foods often and some proclaim that they have eaten the same food every day for the past 5, 10, 15 or 20 years.
Me: I almost died when I read that.
- Those who lost weight and kept it off for more than two years had less variety within all food groups except vegetables, and more variety in their choice of vegetables. This meant that they were not cutting out food groups, but having less of a variety within each of them.
That's all for today. Will upload more from this book next time. Bye!
One of my biggest pet peeves
I know I don't normally write my feelings in this blog. Most of it is either what I've been doing, with who I've been doing it, exams and school, and my dumb crush and weight issues. Speaking of dumb crush issues, I stopped writing about it, because I realized that somehow my crushes tend to chance upon my blog.
Anywho, I decided to finally tell you guys one of my biggest pet peeves...
Wait for it...
I can't stand people watching Wrestling in front of me. Why? Because I can't stand violence. Like in movies it's fine because I know it's fake. However, I can't stand real-life bone breaking/crushing.
Dear wrestlers, your parents raised you to get beaten up in the ring is it? Or to beat people up? I know for some of them, they do it because of money issues. That's all they're good at...using their strength and physical agility and/or strength. Ok fine, I give it to you. Then how about, after you win some rounds and earn some money, you sign yourself up at a school and get a good education that can get you a job where you don't have to break people's noses or crush their jaws?
If someone says he or she has the PASSION for wrestling and that is why they do it...well, that leaves me speechless. How can anyone ENJOY inflicting pain on someone else that bad?Sometimes some wrestlers even use chairs from outside the rink and smack it on their opponent's head.
Be glad I am not a president of some country...because if I was, before tackling the more serious issues the country faces, I would probably ban wrestling first. Yep, the million dollar industry would be crushed by me. Money is not more important than the values that we impart to our people. I mean, imagine what message this sends to a child. That it is OKAY, and even COOL to get violent. And we ask ourselves why there are so many gang fights in places such as...let's say Chicago?
I look at Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. He's a good actor, and one of my favorite's to be honest. Now HE has done the smart thing by changing career. You go man!
OK to be honest, this isn't a hate post on wrestlers as much as it may seem like it is. I just want to reiterate that I just don't like the violence. And that my friends, is why you shouldn't watch wrestling in front of me.
And now I hope that a real crazy wrestling fan doesn't chance upon this and go mad at me.

New idea for a story!!
Ok, so I have an idea for a story. Like a really long one...and obviously if you know me well enough, it's going to be a romance one. :)
The title will be "Love at first blind date". Or something like that. Can't wait to start penning it down. I will probably post it on Wattpad.. :)
Anyways, Judy came to my house yesterday and we watched movies. And Fuxuan came to my house today and we watched movies too! It's so fun to watch movies with friends!! :)
Okay, shall go and eat dinner now. Toodles(:

A time to rest, relax and reflect
So exams have ended and I now have the chance to rest and relax. I met up with my secondary school besties Wan Ling, Ru, and Chin at the mac near our secondary school. It was our hotspot; we always used to meet up there to study before the O Levels.
Chin's face while we were talking about Joanne Peh's boobs.
Don't ask me why.
Ru and I trying to do the Oppa Gangnam Style poses.
I totally failed.
The three of us :)

Exams have ended
Yay! Exams are over. :) Only problem now is that the grades will determine whether I get promoted or not. Here's hoping I do!
I went to the Harry Potter exhibition on Sunday with Wendy!! :) Wendy and Brielle treated me to the ticket as a birthday gift. Thanks guys, love you :) Here are some photos:
Wendy and I on the taxi on the way to HP
exhibition
Mr Weasley's Flying Car :D
Knight to C5! :D Giant chess piece :)
Marina Bay Sands:
I can't help but admire my own photography.
LOL, jkjk.
The Exhibition was awesome! The authentic, the ACTUAL props and costumes were there! OMG. Hagrid's hut was so real like, and the great hall too!! I didn't get to try on the sorting hat though :(
OK, I've been away from my comp for pretty long. Got a lot of FB notifcations to check and youtube subscriptions to check out. Check email, etc etc. Later going to meet up with gals, and I need to catch up with sleep too. Haven't been sleeping properly for the past few weeks. :(
Toodles, will blog again soon :)
