Have a lot of random little updates. Firstly, Chemistry A Level SPA is over and thank GOD it went smoothly - unlike last year when I couldn't manage my time. It went so well this year I can literally cry; that's how thankful I am. Although SPA is just a few percentage of the overall A Level Chemistry paper, it can be the difference between an A and a B. Physics SPA is next Wednesday and I hope it goes just as smoothly! :) Good luck to everyone having their SPA next week! :)
Secondly, my mom had a fever on Thursday :( Been taking care of her like how she usually takes care of me. It stinks when a family member is ill, don't you think so? The house somehow becomes less lively. Thankfully, my mom's recovered already. :)
Thirdly, I finally got my hands on the novel Life Of Pi. Although I don't have much time for reading, I will still try to complete it by the end of June nonetheless. One does not simply miss out on such great reads.
Fourthly, had a physics, General Paper, and maths test recently. Only got back the compre paper for GP though, which I passed by the skin of my teeth. I NEED TO IMPROVE MY VOCAB. I find it so difficult to change the words sometimes. :( And of course, I need to work on my general knowledge too. We might be getting back our essays this Monday. Hopefully I do well!
Anyways, I went to meet Mabel after school yesterday! We printed some photos through digital printing, will print more next time! So far I only printed one of my 15th birthday party and one of my mom at the Good Friday memorial this year :) After that she came over to my house and I kind of helped her with her presents for her mom and grandma. (Mom's birthday and grandma's farewell gift)
Was supposed to go to the library today with Zhiqi, Shamira and gang BUT my mom suddenly said she is not feeling well again and there goes my decision to go out :/ Dad isn't at home you see.
One last important update. There are many things that I want to be when I grow up. One of them happens to be the editor of a fashion magazine. (I know I don't look the part, don't judge me ><)
But I really don't know how in the world to go about doing it. So I wrote an email to Ms Kamei, the editor of CLEO magazine asking for advice and guess what? She actually wrote back! So tocuhed :') She gave me really good advice and I will remember it for life. Who knows, one day I may be working for her :)
That's all for now. Shall go get started on Chemistry homework!
